On-line sale during November

We’ve been unable to hold any sales this year – yet the needs of people in Africa don’t go away. Therefore, in the run-up to Christmas, we’re going to hold our first on-line sale using Facebook. Every day in November we’ll be showcasing one of our wide range of handmade craft products for your consideration.

We’d love it if you’d purchase one (or more) of our products for yourself or for a Christmas present. But even if you don’t buy anything, you can still help in advertising our sale far and wide by liking and sharing our Facebook posts.

We’d like as many people as possible to see our collection, and through their purchases, help people in Africa. This year we’re collecting money for Rainwater Catchment Tanks, sent through the charity Send-a-Cow. More details are on our Facebook page. Please like and share!

This year’s charity : Water Tanks – through Send a Cow

For those of you who aren’t aware, this year’s charity remains Send a Cow, but this time we’re collecting for Rainwater Catchment Tanks.

We need to raise £25 for each tank.

Having enough water for both crops and family use can be an issue for African farmers, particularly as weather patterns have become more uncertain due to climate change.  With the help of gifts like this, we support families with the skills to build and maintain a rainwater catchment tank.  These clever storage areas capture rainwater runoff, usually from the roof of the house, and direct it into the tank.  This means that no matter when the rainy season comes, precious water is available.

In the midst of our Coronavirus pandemic, it is hard to meet face to face for you to buy our goods.  But we hope you’ll be able to buy on-line soon !
